Farmers to benefit from clinics

1 min read

Agricultural machinery distributor FMD will hold clinics to prepare farmers in the Rift Valley for the planting season. The Xtra Care Clinics will be held in Moiben, Kipkaren and Cherangany for owners of Massey Ferguson tractors and planters on March 16 and 17. Demonstrations will be carried out using the MF 106 planter and  participants will be shown good planting practices. Farmers will benefit from free inspections for their tractors and
advice on maintenance. In addition, there will be complimentary calibration of Baldan and Massey Ferguson planters and spare parts will be on sale at special prices. Philip Cheruiyot, the sales manager at FMD East Africa, said, “The free calibration of Massey Ferguson planters is done to ensure that the implements have correct inter-row
and intra-row seed placement for optimum results.”
